Not only that, the recipes are perfect for mid-week cooking, easy and delicious. I am so impressed! Life is busy, and what Meal Packs does is take out the need to meal plan and decide what's for dinner, helping to stop my husband and I from buying out and wasting miscellaneous food in the fridge. The app-generated list makes sharing the shopping duties fast and painless, and makes planning meals for the week so much less frustrating and time-consuming. We eat more veggies and meatless dishes with this app, and I have learned a ton of new cooking techniques that were intimidating before. Trying new dishes is fun and simple, and the new format of having ALL recipes available every week makes it super simple to seek out something new when we are bored of the usuals. Our favorite recipes come to the table regularly, and some have even made it into such frequent rotation that we always keep the ingredients on hand for a quick easy supper. If you have teenagers in the home, up it to 4 servings and you will have plenty of food. As a family of 4, we often only make the servings for 2 people, as the portions for many of the dishes are massive. Switched to trying this for a month nearly 2 years ago, and was blown away by the recipes, flavors, and servings. We used to have a meal kit delivery subscription, but the kids sometimes needed more food and we got tired of some of the repetition in the types of food on offer. This app has completely changed how we cook and eat. If they can make this more user friendly and give you options for dietary issues, I may come back and try it again in the future. And they tend to start with asking about any dietary issues you may have, so it can upload recipe’s immediately for your dietary needs. Unfortunately, there are similar apps that do this far better. And not just for lactose free, if you have any dietary issues, I could not find a way to put so. I tried looking for many ways to find options to show me things without dairy in it, but I could not find anything. I cannot have anything lactose and don’t want any recipes that include it. The biggest issue between this app and others, it doesn’t give you the option to put dietary issues. It’s pretty user friendly, but still can be hard to find things. While it has some great ideas, it needs LOTS of work to be able to compete with other similar apps that do it much better. They’re great and I watched each video every week. I was always doing something else.I love these guys. I put them in a big list of stuff to pick up "when I had time", but of course I rarely actually pulled anything from that list. I could set myself the tasks, but I never explicitly planned tine to do them. If you have meetings all day every day and defer things as action items-guess what, they're never going to happen, because you still need to take time to do those things.įor my personal life, this is exactly why I'd review my personal projects for the week on the weekend, go to work all week, and end up re-reviewing the same tasks in the same projects as the end of the week. But it's easy to forget that "async" tasks still take time. Yes! Regardless of implementation, those is the key insight that I had, too.Įspecially at work, there's a big (and good!) movement to get things out of synchronous meetings and do them "async" to save time for others in the meeting. That’s so obvious as to be absurd, but our task managers don’t really consider it. There was this realisation that if you do want to do then as per the laws of physics you do actually have to do it at a time.
